Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Dermacyte Amniotic Wound Care Matrix (also known as Dermacyte Matrix) is a human amniotic membrane allograft biologic developed by Merakris Therapeutics. The product is aseptically processed to preserve the epithelial basement membrane and a compact fibroblast layer, creating a protective extracellular matrix (ECM) barrier and scaffold for wound coverage. It retains native growth factors and cytokines essential for supporting the natural healing process. Dermacyte Matrix is indicated for the management of non-infected partial-thickness skin ulcers, including diabetic foot ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, pressure ulcers, and burns, as well as more complex dermal ulcerations with exposed vital structures such as tendons or bone.
