Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Dermakel is a topical gel formulated with a combination of natural herbal extracts and a silicone derivative (methylsilanol hydroxyproline aspartate) designed to manage and prevent scars, keloids, and stretch marks. Developed by Soho Industri Pharmasi (Soho Global Health), the gel contains active ingredients such as *Allium cepa* (onion bulb extract), *Centella asiatica* (pegagan), *Aloe barbadensis* (aloe vera), *Phyllanthus emblica*, *Tamarindus indica*, *Broussonetia papyrifera* (paper mulberry), and allantoin. It is clinically indicated for the treatment of surgical wounds, old and new scars, and hypertrophic scars or keloids resulting from surgical procedures. Dermakel works by reducing scar hyperpigmentation (redness), promoting the skin's natural healing process, softening and flattening scars, and maintaining skin moisture and elasticity.
