Dermalleve

**Dermalleve** was a Calgenex over-the-counter topical cream containing **hydrocortisone 1%**, a low-potency topical corticosteroid. It was introduced for symptomatic treatment of inflammatory, pruritic skin conditions including psoriasis, eczema, and seborrheic dermatitis. Hydrocortisone activates glucocorticoid receptors in the skin, suppressing inflammatory signaling and helping reduce erythema, irritation, and itch. The product also incorporated non-drug skin conditioners and emollients. Publicly available information is historical; Dermalleve is distinct from the currently marketed similarly spelled product Dermeleve.
