Dermaprazole

Dermaprazole is a topical formulation of esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), that has been reformulated into a cream for dermatological applications. It appears to be under clinical investigation for the treatment of radiation dermatitis, particularly in cancer patients undergoing radiation therapy. The search results indicate that dermaprazole works through antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antifibrotic properties. It has shown efficacy in mitigating radiation-induced dermatitis in preclinical models by reducing inflammation and scarring.
