Overview

DermaRegeon is a topical product developed by CK Regeon designed for hair loss treatment and skin regeneration. It utilizes a first-in-class mechanism that targets the CXXC-type zinc finger protein 5 (CXXC5), which acts as a negative feedback regulator of the Wnt/beta-catenin signaling pathway. The active component, typically the PTD-DBM peptide, interferes with the protein-protein interaction between CXXC5 and Dishevelled (Dvl). By inhibiting this interaction, DermaRegeon restores and activates Wnt/beta-catenin signaling, which is critical for hair follicle development, hair regrowth, and wound healing. The product is being developed as both a therapeutic candidate and a high-functional topical agent for dermatological applications.
