Dermatophagoides allergen immunotherapy + Lepidoglyphus allergen immunotherapy is a subcutaneous allergen immunotherapy (SCIT) product developed by Inmunotek S.L. It is composed of glutaraldehyde-modified (polymerized/allergoid) extracts from house dust mites (*Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus* and *Dermatophagoides farinae*) and the storage mite *Lepidoglyphus destructor*. The polymerization process reduces the IgE-binding capacity (allergenicity) while preserving the ability to induce a protective immune response (immunogenicity), thereby improving safety and allowing for faster up-dosing. The therapy is indicated for patients with moderate-to-severe allergic rhinitis or rhinoconjunctivitis, with or without mild-to-moderate controlled asthma, who are sensitized to these specific mite species. It is currently being evaluated in Phase III clinical trials to confirm its efficacy in inducing allergen-specific immune tolerance.
