Overview

SLI-RX-DPT is a sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT) being developed by ROXALL Medizin GmbH for the treatment of house dust mite allergies. [1] It consists of a native allergen extract from the house dust mite *Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus*, formulated as a sublingual spray. [1, 17] The therapeutic principle is hyposensitization, where repeated administration of the allergen aims to induce immunological tolerance and reduce the allergic response. [1] SLI-RX-DPT is under evaluation in a Phase II/III clinical trial to assess its efficacy and safety in patients with moderate to severe allergic rhinitis and/or rhinoconjunctivitis. [1, 16]
