Overview

DermiSphere (also known as DermiSphere hDRT) is a collagen-based hydrogel dermal regeneration template developed by Fesarius Therapeutics. It features a unique microarchitecture combining a collagen hydrogel with dense collagen microspheres, designed to act as a scaffold for cellular infiltration, tissue integration, and revascularization. The product received FDA 510(k) clearance in January 2025 for the management of various wound types, including partial and full-thickness wounds, pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, diabetic ulcers, and surgical wounds. Originally developed at Weill Cornell Medicine, DermiSphere represents an advancement in regenerative medicine for complex wound care.
