Overview
DESIRE is a proprietary, prescription-only Ayurvedic formulation developed by BOHECO (Bombay Hemp Company) to support sexual and reproductive health in both men and women. Formulated in capsule form, the product combines standardized Cannabis (Vijaya) leaf powder with traditional Ayurvedic adaptogens and aphrodisiacs, including Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), Kaunch Beej (Mucuna pruriens), Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus), and Gokshura (Tribulus terrestris). DESIRE works primarily by modulating the body's endocannabinoid system (ECS) through the binding of cannabinoids to CB1 and CB2 receptors, which helps regulate mood, reduce performance-related anxiety, and support hormonal balance. It is marketed in India under AYUSH regulations for addressing stress-induced intimacy challenges, low libido, and reduced stamina.
