Deulumateperone (developmental code name ITI-1284) is an experimental antipsychotic and a deuterated analogue of lumateperone. It is being developed as a sublingually administered orally disintegrating tablet (ODT) for the treatment of psychotic disorders, agitation (including in Alzheimer’s disease), generalized anxiety disorder, and behavioral disturbances in dementia. The drug acts as a serotonin 5-HT2A receptor antagonist, dopamine D1 and D2 receptor modulator, glutamate modulator, and serotonin uptake inhibitor. Deulumateperone is being developed by Intra-Cellular Therapies[3][5][6][8].
