DEVA-OV2 is a preclinical-stage oncolytic virus therapy developed by Devacell for the treatment of solid tumors. It is built upon the proprietary ONCoat™ platform, which utilizes a nanoparticle-based synthetic vector derived from an engineered adenovirus subtype 5 (Ad5). DEVA-OV2 is engineered to deliver a combination of immune checkpoint inhibitors targeting Programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1), Programmed cell death 1 ligand 1 (PD-L1), and Cytotoxic T-lymphocyte protein 4 (CTLA-4). By delivering these therapeutic payloads directly to the tumor microenvironment, the drug aims to overcome immune evasion and stimulate a potent anti-tumor response while reducing the systemic side effects typically associated with checkpoint blockade.
