Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a fixed-dose combination drug containing dexamethasone (a synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroid), thiamine (vitamin B1), pyridoxine (vitamin B6), and cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12). Dexamethasone acts as an anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressant by binding to the glucocorticoid receptor, reducing inflammation and immune responses. Thiamine, pyridoxine, and cyanocobalamin are essential water-soluble B vitamins involved in various metabolic processes, including nerve function and red blood cell formation. The combination has been studied for synergistic effects in reducing neuropathic pain and treating vitamin deficiencies. Preclinical studies suggest that combining these agents can provide enhanced analgesic effects compared to individual components, particularly in neuropathic pain models[1][3]. Clinical use also includes treatment of nutritional vitamin B12 deficiency when combined with other B vitamins[6].
