Delta-Tylo-Wayzon Pharma is a veterinary combination product developed by Wayzon Pharma. It contains tylosin, a macrolide antibiotic, and dexamethasone, a potent synthetic glucocorticoid. Tylosin exerts its antibacterial effect by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit of susceptible bacteria, thereby inhibiting protein synthesis. It is particularly effective against Gram-positive bacteria and Mycoplasma species.
