Overview

**Dexanabinol + sorafenib** is an investigational combination regimen comprising two small molecule drugs: **dexanabinol**, a synthetic non-psychotropic cannabinoid derivative, and **sorafenib**, a multikinase inhibitor. **Dexanabinol** has been studied primarily as a neuroprotective agent and has also been investigated for its potential anticancer and anti-inflammatory properties. **Sorafenib** is a well-established kinase inhibitor approved for the treatment of advanced hepatocellular carcinoma, renal cell carcinoma, and differentiated thyroid cancer; it acts by inhibiting RAF kinase and several receptor tyrosine kinases involved in tumor angiogenesis and cell proliferation. This specific combination has been evaluated in clinical trials for potential synergistic anti-tumor effects, mainly in solid tumors such as pancreatic cancer and hepatocellular carcinoma, but there is no evidence of regulatory approval for this combination as of now.
