Dexlet-D

Dexlet-D is an oral combination small molecule drug manufactured by Prisure Medicare, primarily used for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and peptic ulcer disease. It contains two active ingredients: dexrabeprazole sodium (10 mg), a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that suppresses gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the H+/K+-ATPase enzyme system in gastric parietal cells, and domperidone (30 mg), a prokinetic agent and dopamine D2 receptor antagonist that enhances gastrointestinal motility and prevents nausea. This combination effectively manages symptoms such as heartburn, stomach pain, and acid-related irritation by neutralizing stomach acid and facilitating the movement of food through the digestive tract.
