Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Dexosome** is a cell-free therapeutic vaccine derived from dendritic cells (DCs) loaded with tumor-associated antigens (TAAs) for cancer immunotherapy. It leverages exosomes secreted by DCs to present antigens, activating both adaptive (T lymphocytes) and innate (natural killer cells) immune responses against tumors. Dexosomes have demonstrated antitumor activity in preclinical mouse models and safety in human clinical trials, including phase I studies in advanced non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) and phase II in malignant melanoma, without significant adverse effects.[2][5]
