Overview

Dexozyme is a combination digestive enzyme formulation containing fungal diastase and pepsin. Developed by Dexon Biotech, it is primarily used to treat digestive disorders, including indigestion, flatulence, bloating, and loss of appetite. Fungal diastase is a starch-degrading enzyme derived from fungal sources (such as *Aspergillus oryzae*) that facilitates the breakdown of complex carbohydrates into simpler sugars. Pepsin is a proteolytic enzyme that aids in the digestion of dietary proteins by cleaving them into smaller peptides in the acidic environment of the stomach. Together, these enzymes supplement the body's natural digestive secretions, promoting efficient nutrient absorption and relieving gastrointestinal discomfort.
