Dexpass

Dexpass is an oral effervescent combination drug developed by Neutec Pharmaceutical for the treatment of mild to moderate acute pain, including musculoskeletal pain, dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain), toothache, and postoperative pain. It contains two active ingredients: dexketoprofen trometamol, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), and paracetamol (acetaminophen), an analgesic and antipyretic. Dexketoprofen works by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) enzymes, thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins that mediate inflammation and pain. Paracetamol provides complementary pain relief through central analgesic mechanisms. The effervescent tablet formulation is designed for rapid dissolution in water, which may facilitate a faster onset of action and provide an alternative for patients who have difficulty swallowing solid dosage forms.
