Overview

A combination of dextroamphetamine, a central nervous system stimulant, and paroxetine, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI). Dextroamphetamine works by increasing the release and preventing the reuptake of dopamine in synaptic clefts, while paroxetine works by inhibiting the reuptake of serotonin.
