**Dextrose monohydrate + magnesium acetate + potassium acetate + sodium chloride** is a fixed-combination intravenous fluid, electrolyte, and nutrient replenisher marketed by ICU Medical as **Normosol-M and 5% Dextrose Injection**. This sterile, nonpyrogenic, hypertonic solution provides 5% dextrose for limited carbohydrate calories together with sodium, chloride, potassium, magnesium, and acetate ions to support routine parenteral maintenance of daily fluid and electrolyte requirements. It contains 5 g dextrose hydrous, 234 mg sodium chloride, 128 mg potassium acetate, and 21 mg anhydrous magnesium acetate per 100 mL, and is administered by intravenous infusion.
