Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Dezapelisib is an investigational small molecule inhibitor of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase delta (PI3Kδ). It is designed to selectively inhibit the PI3Kδ isoform, a key signaling protein involved in the proliferation and survival of B cells. By blocking this pathway, dezapelisib aims to reduce abnormal cell growth and survival in certain hematologic malignancies such as lymphomas and leukemias. The drug was developed by Incyte for use primarily in B-cell malignancies.
