Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DG-770 is an investigational small-molecule insulin receptor agonist being developed for the treatment of diabetes, originating from DeveloGen and later integrated into Evotec’s metabolic disease portfolio. It is designed to activate the insulin receptor and has been reported to trigger pancreatic beta‑cell proliferation and neogenesis, aiming both to improve insulin sensitivity and to regenerate functional beta‑cell mass in type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Preclinical studies have shown efficacy and safety in various models of diabetes, but the program has remained in early-stage development without reported regulatory approvals.
