Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**DGG-KLH** is an experimental active cancer-vaccine conjugate comprising the DGG peptide mimotope of the disialoganglioside **GD2** covalently coupled to keyhole limpet hemocyanin. DGG was selected using the anti-GD2 chimeric monoclonal antibody ch14.18 as a structural mimic of its GD2 epitope. In BALB/c mice, DGG-KLH induced IgG antibodies that recognized purified GD2 and GD2 expressed by neuroblastoma and melanoma cells, supporting its use as a preclinical immunotherapy approach for GD2-positive neuroectodermal tumors.
