dHAM 1102 is an injectable biological biomaterial derived from the human amniotic membrane, developed by PrimeCell Advanced Therapy. The product is designed to leverage the regenerative properties of the amniotic membrane, which contains a complex milieu of growth factors, cytokines, and extracellular matrix proteins that facilitate tissue repair, reduce inflammation, and provide a scaffold for cellular growth. It is primarily being developed for musculoskeletal conditions, including osteoarthritis, tendinitis, and arthritis, as well as for the treatment of chronic wounds such as burns and ulcers. As of 2024, the developer has submitted a Phase I/IIa clinical trial application to the Czech regulatory authority (SÚKL) to evaluate the safety and preliminary efficacy of the injectable formulation in a cohort of approximately 368 patients.
