Overview

DIA01-R is a resorbable, corticosteroid-eluting intranasal insert being developed by Dianosic for the treatment of moderate to severe persistent chronic allergic rhinitis. The device is designed to provide local, sustained elution of a corticosteroid directly to the nasal mucosa over a period of approximately 6 to 12 months. This long-term delivery system aims to improve patient compliance and therapeutic outcomes by providing continuous medication and avoiding the 'peak and valley' effect associated with traditional daily nasal sprays. As of 2024, the program is in the preclinical stage, with Phase 1 clinical trials anticipated to commence in 2026.
