Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DIA02-S is a resorbable, corticosteroid-eluting intranasal insert being developed by Dianosic for the treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS), specifically targeting patients who are non-responsive to standard nasal corticosteroids. The product is part of Dianosic's Active Resorbable Nasal Insert (ARNI) platform, which utilizes a biodegradable scaffold to provide local, sustained delivery of a corticosteroid directly to the nasal mucosa. This mechanism aims to reduce inflammation and improve symptoms while avoiding the need for manual removal of the device, as the scaffold is designed to be absorbed by the body. DIA02-S is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
