Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Diakine Drug Conjugate is a preclinical-stage tumor-directed drug conjugate developed by DEKA Biosciences. It is designed to deliver a cytotoxic payload specifically to cancer cells that are dependent on growth factors for survival and proliferation. The therapeutic utilizes DEKA's proprietary Diakine platform, which involves the engineering of cytokine fusion proteins, to target a wide array of malignancies. These include solid tumors such as renal cell carcinoma, pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, and non-small cell lung cancer, as well as various hematologic malignancies. By combining the targeting specificity of the Diakine platform with a potent cytotoxic agent, the drug aims to provide a more localized and effective treatment option while minimizing systemic toxicity.
