Brulidine Cream is a topical antiseptic and antibacterial cream containing dibrompropamidine isetionate (0.15% w/w). It is used to treat minor skin conditions, including cuts, grazes, minor burns, scalds, nappy rash, and minor skin infections. Dibrompropamidine isetionate is an aromatic diamidine antiseptic that exerts its antimicrobial effects by disrupting microbial cell membrane integrity and function, as well as binding to nucleic acids to inhibit DNA synthesis. It is active against a wide range of Gram-positive bacteria (such as *Streptococcus* and *Staphylococcus*, including penicillin-resistant strains) and certain fungi.
