Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination drug containing three active ingredients: diclofenac, paracetamol (also known as acetaminophen), and ibuprofen. Diclofenac and ibuprofen are both non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) that work by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX)-1 and COX-2 enzymes, thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins involved in pain, inflammation, and fever. Paracetamol is a non-opioid analgesic and antipyretic agent that reduces pain and fever primarily through central inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis. The combination aims to provide enhanced analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects for the management of mild to moderate pain conditions where monotherapy may be insufficient.
