Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Relifast Pain Relief Spray is a topical analgesic formulation developed and marketed by BLS Pharma (Belfast Life Sciences) in Pakistan. It is designed for the symptomatic relief of musculoskeletal pain, including backache, joint pain, muscle strains, and sprains. The spray contains a combination of active ingredients: **diclofenac diethylamine**, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces pain and inflammation by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes; **methyl salicylate**, a counter-irritant that induces local vasodilation and provides a warming sensation; and **menthol**, which provides a cooling effect and acts as a mild local anesthetic by interacting with cold-sensitive receptors. This multi-action formulation allows for rapid absorption and localized relief at the site of injury or inflammation.
