Overview

Yetdase-SP is an oral fixed-dose combination product developed by Bernard Biotech, primarily indicated for the management of pain and inflammatory conditions. It contains three active ingredients: diclofenac potassium, paracetamol (acetaminophen), and serratiopeptidase. Diclofenac potassium is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that provides rapid analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2), thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis. Paracetamol acts as an additional analgesic and antipyretic agent, likely through central nervous system mechanisms that elevate the pain threshold and reduce fever. Serratiopeptidase is a proteolytic enzyme that aids in the resolution of inflammation and edema by breaking down fibrin and other abnormal proteins at the site of injury. This combination is commonly used for musculoskeletal pain, post-operative inflammation, and traumatic injuries.
