DIELEN Protect

DIELEN Protect is a dietary supplement developed by Laboratoire Dielen specifically for the management of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). The product is a combination of L-glutamine, a non-essential amino acid critical for intestinal health, and Gabolysat, a proprietary complex of bioactive marine peptides derived from fish protein hydrolysate. The formulation targets two primary pathophysiological features of IBS: intestinal hyperpermeability (leaky gut) and visceral hypersensitivity. By providing glutamine, the supplement supports the metabolic needs of enterocytes and promotes the expression of tight junction proteins, which are often compromised in IBS patients. The Gabolysat component has demonstrated efficacy in preclinical models for reducing intestinal inflammation and improving barrier integrity.
