Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Diftetkok is a trivalent combination vaccine developed and manufactured by BulBio (BB-NCIPD Ltd), a Bulgarian state-owned pharmaceutical company. It is indicated for active immunization against diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis (whooping cough). The vaccine contains purified diphtheria and tetanus toxoids adsorbed onto an aluminum adjuvant, combined with a whole-cell pertussis component (Bordetella pertussis). It works by inducing the production of specific antitoxins and antibodies against the three respective pathogens, providing protective immunity. It is typically administered via intramuscular injection and is part of the established national immunization schedules in various regions.
