Overview

Dihydronicotinic acid riboside (NARH) is a small molecule research compound that serves as a potent precursor to nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+). As the reduced form of nicotinic acid riboside (NAR), NARH has been shown to effectively increase intracellular NAD+ levels, particularly in hepatic cells. Research conducted by the Nestlé Institute of Health Sciences and ChromaDex indicates that NARH may work synergistically with other precursors like nicotinamide riboside (NR) to enhance NAD+ metabolism. It is being explored for its potential therapeutic benefits in healthy aging and metabolic conditions associated with NAD+ depletion.
