Overview

Dilpacimab is a novel dual-variable domain immunoglobulin (DVD-Ig) that targets both delta-like ligand 4 (DLL4) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) pathways. It acts as a bispecific monoclonal antibody designed to inhibit angiogenesis by simultaneously blocking DLL4 and VEGF signaling. Dilpacimab has been investigated primarily for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, including metastatic colorectal cancer and ovarian cancer. Clinical studies have shown that it binds to both VEGF and DLL4 targets, demonstrating anti-tumor activity with an acceptable safety profile. The most common adverse events include hypertension, headache, fatigue, and gastrointestinal perforation in rare cases. The drug was developed by AbbVie[1][2][4][5].
