Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Dimolegin is a novel small molecule anticoagulant developed by PharmaDiall. It acts as a direct oral inhibitor of coagulation factor Xa and is designed for the prevention and treatment of thrombotic complications such as venous thromboembolism. The drug has been evaluated in phase 1–3 clinical trials for indications including venous thromboembolism and COVID-19-associated thrombosis. In phase 3 studies, Dimolegin demonstrated higher efficacy compared to enoxaparin (Clexane) in preventing thrombotic events in hospitalized COVID-19 patients. Its once-daily oral dosing offers convenience over injectable anticoagulants[1][2][3][4][5][8][9].
