Overview
Dingchuan Zhike Capsule (定喘止咳胶囊) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulated as a hard capsule. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of respiratory conditions such as wind-cold cough and asthma, bronchial asthma, and bronchitis, often accompanied by chest fullness. Its traditional functions include disseminating lung qi to relieve asthma and regulating qi to stop cough. The capsule contains a combination of various herbal ingredients, commonly including Ma Huang (Ephedra), Xing Ren (Apricot Kernel), Hou Po (Magnolia Bark), Chen Pi (Tangerine Peel), Zi Su Ye (Perilla Leaf), Gan Cao (Licorice Root), Chai Hu (Bupleurum Root), Kuan Dong Hua (Coltsfoot Flower), Ban Xia (Pinellia Tuber), Sang Bai Pi (Mulberry Bark), and Bai Guo (Ginkgo Seed). It is an approved Chinese patent medicine.
