Dingxuan decoction is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formula developed by Wangjing Hospital of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. It is specifically designed for the treatment of vertebral artery type cervical spondylosis (CSA), particularly in patients presenting with the "turbidity of phlegm" syndrome. The formula is intended to resolve phlegm, eliminate dampness, and stabilize vertigo. Clinically, it is used to improve blood flow velocity in the vertebral and basilar arteries, thereby reducing symptoms of dizziness and improving the quality of life for patients with cervical spondylotic arteriopathy.
