Overview
**Dinutuximab beta + 13-cis-retinoic acid** is a combination regimen used as maintenance therapy in pediatric patients with high-risk neuroblastoma following response to first-line multimodal therapy. **Dinutuximab beta** is a monoclonal antibody that targets the disialoganglioside **GD2** highly expressed on neuroblastoma cells, promoting immune-mediated cytotoxicity against the tumor. **13-cis-retinoic acid (isotretinoin)** is a retinoid derivative of vitamin A that induces differentiation and apoptosis of neuroblastoma cells and reduces minimal residual disease. This combination is recommended in maintenance therapy to prolong event-free and overall survival and is established in international guidelines and protocols[5][7]. The regimen is typically administered to pediatric patients aged 12 months and above after cytotoxic induction therapy for high-risk neuroblastoma[5][7].
