This combination would theoretically provide relief from symptoms associated with allergies, colds, or flu—including runny nose, sneezing, itchy/watery eyes, nasal congestion, sinus pressure, and cough—by combining antihistaminic (diphenhydramine), decongestant (phenylephrine), and antitussive (dextromethorphan) effects. Cocoa does not contribute any known pharmacological effect relevant to these indications.
