Overview

Olymvax's Hexavaccine (DPT-AC-Hib) is a preclinical-stage hexavalent combination vaccine designed to provide simultaneous protection against six major infectious diseases: diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib), and meningococcal serogroups A and C. The vaccine formulation incorporates multiple antigens, including diphtheria and tetanus toxoids, acellular pertussis components, and conjugated polysaccharides for Hib and Neisseria meningitidis serogroups A and C. By consolidating these protections into a single administration, the vaccine aims to reduce the number of injections required for pediatric immunization, thereby improving compliance and coverage. It is currently in preclinical development by the Chinese biopharmaceutical company Olymvax.
