Drug intelligence / Profile preview
The Adult DT Vaccine (Diphtheria-Tetanus Vaccine) is an approved toxoid-based vaccine developed by Keymen İlaç, a subsidiary of Alagöz Holding, for the prevention of diphtheria and tetanus in adults. This vaccine is designed to elicit protective immunity against the toxins produced by *Corynebacterium diphtheriae* and *Clostridium tetani*. As a toxoid-based vaccine, it contains inactivated forms of these bacterial toxins (toxoids) that stimulate the immune system to produce neutralizing antibodies without causing the diseases themselves. Keymen İlaç has been a significant supplier of vaccines in Turkey since 1973, and this product is part of its portfolio of approved biologics used in national immunization efforts.
