**diphtheria toxoid + tetanus toxoid + acellular pertussis + hepatitis B recombinant + inactivated poliovirus vaccine** is a pentavalent combination vaccine for infants and young children that protects against five serious infectious diseases: diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), poliomyelitis, and hepatitis B[1][2][3][7].
