Overview

This combination of homeopathic vaccines, or nosodes, was evaluated in a randomized controlled trial led by Dr. Mark Loeb at McMaster University (NCT02825368). The preparation includes Diphtherinum, Pertussinum, Tetanotxicum, Morbilinum, and Ourlianum, which are highly diluted (30cH, 200cH, and 1000cH) substances derived from the causative agents or products of diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, measles, and mumps, respectively. The study aimed to compare the immunological response of these nosodes against conventional vaccines (Tdap and MMR) and placebo in healthy young adults. Results published in 2018 demonstrated that the homeopathic preparations failed to produce any detectable antibody response, yielding results indistinguishable from the placebo group, whereas conventional vaccines produced robust immunity.
