Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Discovery Program 4 is a discovery-stage research initiative by Monte Rosa Therapeutics aimed at identifying and developing novel molecular glue degraders (MGDs) for the treatment of immune-mediated diseases. The program leverages the company's proprietary QuEEN™ (Quantitative and Engineered Elimination of Neosubstrates) platform to discover small molecules that induce the degradation of specific, currently undisclosed protein targets by facilitating their recruitment to E3 ubiquitin ligases. By targeting proteins that play key roles in immune signaling pathways, the program seeks to provide new therapeutic options for patients with autoimmune and inflammatory disorders. As of early 2024, the program remains in the discovery phase with specific molecular candidates and biological targets yet to be publicly specified.
