Overview
This is a combination of disodium cromoglycate (a mast cell stabilizer) and histamine dihydrochloride. Disodium cromoglycate inhibits degranulation of mast cells, preventing the release of histamine and other inflammatory mediators. It's used to treat mastocytosis, asthma, and allergic conditions. Histamine dihydrochloride is used in the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia and as a topical analgesic.
