Overview

DIT309 is an experimental CAR-T cell therapy designed for patients with advanced bone and soft tissue sarcomas who have exhausted standard treatments. The therapy involves extracting a patient's T cells and genetically engineering them to express a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) that specifically targets B7-H3, a protein commonly found on sarcoma cells. The modified CAR-T cells are then infused intravenously into the patient to seek out and destroy B7-H3–positive tumor cells. This approach aims to harness the patient's immune system to control or eradicate cancer, with the trial evaluating safety, tolerability, and early signs of antitumor activity. The study follows a dose-escalation design and is being conducted at Shanghai General Hospital[2][4][5].
