Divatrone

Divatrone is an oral gynecological medication containing dydrogesterone, a synthetic progestogen that is orally active and highly selective for progesterone receptors. Developed and marketed by Jagsonpal Pharmaceuticals, it is used to treat conditions associated with progesterone deficiency, such as female infertility due to luteal insufficiency, endometriosis, secondary amenorrhea, irregular cycles, and threatened or recurrent miscarriage. Unlike some other synthetic progestogens, dydrogesterone does not have androgenic or estrogenic effects at therapeutic doses, making it suitable for endometrial protection during hormone replacement therapy. It works by mimicking the actions of natural progesterone in the uterus, regulating the growth and shedding of the endometrial lining.
