Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Divaza is a fixed-dose combination drug developed by Materia Medica Holding, containing release-active (ultra-low dose) affinity-purified antibodies to brain-specific protein S-100 and endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS). It is primarily indicated for the treatment of chronic cerebral ischemia, cerebral atherosclerosis, and associated cognitive impairments. The drug's mechanism of action involves the modulation of S-100 protein activity, which exerts neuroprotective, anti-hypoxic, and anxiolytic effects, and the modulation of eNOS, which improves endothelial function, increases nitric oxide bioavailability, and enhances cerebral microcirculation. Clinical trials, including Phase 4 studies, have evaluated its efficacy in reducing oxidative stress and improving cognitive performance in elderly patients.
