Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DK210 (VEGFR2) is an engineered cytokine fusion protein developed by DEKA Biosciences using its proprietary Diakine™ platform. The molecule is designed to deliver a dual-cytokine payload consisting of interleukin-2 (IL-2) and interleukin-10 (IL-10) specifically to the tumor microenvironment and tumor vasculature by targeting Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptor 2 (VEGFR2). By localizing these potent immune modulators, DK210 (VEGFR2) aims to stimulate a robust anti-tumor immune response while minimizing the systemic toxicities often associated with high-dose cytokine therapies. The IL-2 component promotes the proliferation and activation of T cells and natural killer cells, while the IL-10 component is intended to modulate the immune environment and potentially enhance the anti-tumor effects of IL-2. This asset is being developed for the treatment of a broad range of solid cancers.
